Since 1985, Pictet Bank has been calculating the Pictet LPP Indices, which track the performance of mixed mandates with the reference currency CHF. Three index families are currently used: the LPP 2000, the LPP 2005 (LPP plus) and the LPP 2015 indices. The former include only the traditional asset classes, i.e. equities and bonds. The second additionally include real estate, hedge funds and private equity, which are marked with the suffix “plus”. The 2015 family aims primarily at a more efficient implementation and uses sub-indices that are more investable. In order to distinguish between the individual indices within each family, the share of equities is indicated in each case (LPP 25, LPP 40 and LPP 60). The Pictet LPP 25 index, for example, contains 25% equities.
