A grant-making foundation is a non-profit foundation that supports beneficiaries (e.g. institutions, projects or non-profit corporations) with its assets or the income generated from them. However, it is not their sponsor at the same time. Support can also be provided through strategic, accompanying measures and does not have to take place exclusively through financial means.
