The Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) are international principles for measuring returns that enable asset managers and their clients to better compare and assess the performance of their investments. The GIPS are sponsored by the CFA Institute and asset managers can apply them voluntarily. The Swiss Bankers Association represents the GIPS in Switzerland and ensures the link to international GIPS bodies.
