Investment controlling monitors the investment activities and the investment results achieved. It ensures that the investment guidelines are adhered to and that the investment results are in line with the market in the long term. For this purpose, the investment controller reports to the investment commission on the asset managers’ investment activities in a so-called monitoring report. On a quarterly basis, the investment controller prepares a so-called controlling report, which provides detailed information on the investment activities of the asset managers and, if necessary, also makes recommendations for action.
